Want to learn to dance?  West Coast Swing, Country 2 Step, Nightclub 2 Step, Hustle, Cha Cha, Salsa, Tango, Rumba, Samba, Lindy, Waltz, and other Ballroom dances.  We have the best instructors in the country right here in Southern California.  With names like Phil Adams, Michele Adams, Carrie Lucas, Martin Parker, Skippy Blair, Tom Hyatt,  Patty Straight,  Lisa Narita, Eric Myers, Jerry Dawson, Sonny Watson, Mike Miller, Bernard and Sonyo you will be sure to get the best instruction for every level of dance whether you have never danced before or if you are advanced.

    • Friday May 9  Country Western Dance, San Pedro Elks Lodge, food and bar available, David & Nadine Bateman, live band (Music Plus) from 7 - 11pm

    • Friday May 9  USABDA dance at  Avant Garde, Rebecca Sorensen teaches American Waltz at 8pm, open dance at 9pm, DJ James Woo

    • Saturday May 10   Phil Adams has 3 workshops and dance at Hacienda, 3-5pm Beg Nightclub 2 step, 5 - 7pm Int/Adv NC2, 7-8pm WCS hitting the breaks, 8pm Swingtime Dance Party (dance party is free)

    • Saturday May 10  Carrie Lucas 2nd Saturday dance at Bea Hive, beginning West Coast Swing lesson by Jack Berard at 6pm, open dance 7 - 10:30

    • Saturday May 10  Lisa Narita has her 2nd Saturday dance at Avant Garde, Eric Myers is DJing, dance starts at 8pm

    • Saturday May 10 Ballroom dance at Top Cats in Placentia, doors open at 7pm, ChaCha lesson with Candi Davis at 7:30, open dance at 8:15, DJ Pi-Ian

    • Sunday May 11 NEW Riverside InCahoots (new ownership and is now El Farallon) is open for WCS, country, chacha and more 6 - 9pm, 3742 Park Sierra in Riverside, 951 359-4800  (country dancing on Wednesday there also)

    • Sunday May 11   OCWCSDC has lessons  at Top Cats taught by rotating teachers. Intermediate WCS at 6pm, Beginner at 6:45, open dance will be at 7:30.  This week's instructor is Doug Silton. Masters (over 50) Strictly swing and Young Adults (25 & under) strictly swing

    • Sunday May 11  Press Box and lessons with Michele Adams is dark tonight, resumes May 18

    • Sunday May 11  Country Potluck Dance at the Westchester Elks Lodge, 8025 W. Manchester, Playa Del Rey, $7, 6:30 - 9:30, bring vittles for chuck wagon table, full bar available (so no outside drinks or water bottles), Knobby 310 452-2100, Tom 310 287-1419
