• Phil Trani's Long Beach,  great band, usually good for WCS and ECS,  very small dance floor, good idea to bring your own dance partner 

• The Hacienda  Every Friday Night at the Hacienda Hotel, Raul Santiago will be teaching a Beginner Hustle lesson from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m and Beginner/Intermediate Cha Cha lesson from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. and the cost is $10.00 per lesson.  They will be playing Salsa and Cha Cha music. • Eric Myers and Lisa Narita teach at Avant Garde, New Day-Night Club 2 Step Level 1 -  6:00-6:45, Styling & Technique Int. WCS - 6:45 - 8:15,   4 weeks series starts 1st of month

• Martin Parker  hustle at 7:00 and nightclub 2 step at 7:45pm at DanScene in Costa Mesa, new series starts first Friday of the month,

• Swing night (lindy) at the Atomic Ballroom dance at 8:30,

• www.theneighborhoodcup.com Come learn to Swing dance, always beginner friendly! Fun instructor, and participants rotate so come with or without a partner. Swing nights are every Fri except the first Fri of the month, only $5 minimum donation requested. The Neighborhood Cup cafe is attached to the Aliso Viejo library, and classes are held out back, in the atrium on smooth cement. Lesson is at 7:45pm/8ish, followed by 10 minutes of some other ballroom style. Open dancing follows, going til 10 or 11pm. Aug 5 AMC Walkway in Downtown Burbank,    Orquesta Charangoa, Led by flutist Fay Roberts, Orquesta Charangoa plays a refined style of Cuban salsa called charanga that features flute, violin, percussion and vocals. The band’s repertoire includes salsa, mambo, cha-cha-cha, cumbia, meringue and montunos — all for your dancing pleasure ,   (San Fernando Bl/Palm Avenue), 818 238-5180,  Festivities kick off nightly at 6:00 P.M. with dance lessons courtesy of Francisco and Stacey of The Dance Family Studio.  Participants can learn the latest dance steps, refine their steps and sharpen their moves before putting it all into practice when the band strikes up.   At 7:00 P.M., the two-hour concert begins with Southern California’s hottest musical acts.
