Want to learn to dance?  West Coast Swing, Country 2 Step, Nightclub 2 Step, Hustle, Cha Cha, Salsa, Tango, Rumba, Samba, Lindy, Waltz, and other Ballroom dances.  We have the best instructors in the country right here in Southern California.  With names like Phil Adams, Michele Adams, Carrie Lucas, Martin Parker, Skippy Blair, Tom Hyatt,  Patty Straight,  Lisa Narita, Eric Myers, Jerry Dawson, Sonny Watson, Mike Miller, Bernard and Sonyo you will be sure to get the best instruction for every level of dance whether you have never danced before or if you are advanced.

    • Friday Aug 8  Got Swing? WCS dance at DanScene in Costa Mesa, Rhonda Diamond and Don Baker teach intermediate Country 2 step at 7:45, open dance 8:30, next week (Aug 15) open Jack & Jill with DJ Koppelman  (you can pay for Martin & Patti's workshop at tonight's dance to save $5 per workshop)

    • Friday Aug 8  Patti Jobst will be teaching WCS at the Hacienda by LAX at 7:30, $5, open dance follows (free)  Patti is available for a limited number of privates on Friday afternoon

    • Friday Aug 8  Movin Up Dance at Avant Garde, sponsored by Classic Christian Events, various music & dance styles, beginning lesson at 8:30, intermediate at 9pm, open dance follows until 12:30,

    • Friday Aug 8  USA Dance at Avant Garde, Am Foxtrot lesson with Rebecca Sorenson at 8pm, open dance 9pm

    • Saturday Aug 9   Phil Adams, Hacienda, Beg NC2 workshop 3 - 5pm, Int NC2 5 - 7pm, WCS hitting the breaks 7 - 8, Swingtime Dance Party at 8pm (party is free), 

    • Saturday Aug 9 Lisa Narita has her 2nd Saturday dance at Avant Garde in Newport Beach, open dance 8pm, Eric Myers DJ . 

    • Saturday Aug 9 event  Christian Singles  dinner dance at the Queen Mary (up to 1,000 attend),   prepay and save

    • Saturday Aug 9 2nd Saturday dance, Ballroom Dance at Top Cats, doors open 7pm, lesson at 7:30, open dance at 8:15,

    • Saturday Aug 9 Country Western Dance, San Pedro Elks Lodge, food and bar available, David & Nadine Bateman, live band (Music Plus) from 7 - 11pm,

    • Sunday event  Aug 10  West Cost Swing Workshop with Martin Parker and Patti Jobst at DanScene in Costa Mesa, 1 - 4pm, 1pm Add flash and flair to your WCS, 2pm Cool & Easy Patterns (intermediate), 3pm Whip it Good (Int/Adv), prepay by Aug 8 for $10 per workshop,  it will be $15 per workshop at the door

    • Sunday Aug 10  Zydeco Dance and BBQ Extravaganza, Gardena Elks Lodge, 1 - 9pm (bbq is 2 -5pm), $20

    • Sunday Aug 10  Debbie D'Aquino starts a new 5 week series for WCS at The Studio, Art of Dance in El Segundo, beginning at 2pm, intermediate at 3pm, Advanced at 4pm, $45 for 5 week series, $12 drop in

    • Sunday Aug 10  Country Potluck Dance at the Westchester Elks Lodge, 8025 W. Manchester, Playa Del Rey, $7, 6:30 - 9:30, bring vittles for chuck wagon table, full bar available (so no outside drinks or water bottles), Knobby 310 452-2100, Tom 310 287-1419

    • Sunday Aug 10  Afro Samba workshop with Julie Simon at DanceSport Ca in Garden Grove, 4 - 6pm

    • Sunday Aug 10 OCWCSDC at Top Cats in Placentia, Patti Jobst teaches Int WCS at 6pm and beg WCS at 6:45, monthly progressive Jack & Jill for Intermediate and Masters

    • Mondays new starting Aug 11 Ballroom at Atomic Ballroom in Irvine, Tango with Doreen, practice ballroom dance follows

    • Tuesdays Patti Jobst will be teaching for the Desert Swing Dance Club at Billy Reed's in Palm Springs On Aug 5, 12 & 26th

    • Martin Parker at DanScene in Costa Mesa changes Fridays to Beginning ChaCha at 7pm and Int ChaCha at 8pm and Tuesdays at 8:15 will be motion study

    • Sign up now for September dance conventions Desert City Swing in Phoenix on Sept 5 - 7  and Buddy Scwhimmer's World Swing Dance Championships at the Irvine Marriott on Sept 12 - 14

    • August & September new Night Flights, FREE concerts and dancing on Friday & Saturday at OC's Great Park (formerly El Toro Marine Corps Air Station)
