  • Friday Feb 3 new series   Press Box in Westminster, Ray Moose  teaches 5:15-6:05pm beg/int west coast swing,  Jerry Dawson teaches nightclub 2 step from 6:20-7:10pm, Int/Adv WCS from 7:20-8:15pm, 8:15 open dance with DJ Bob Brewer (lessons and dance are separate costs)

  • Friday Feb 3 Doreen's Ballroom Party, chacha lesson at 8pm, open dance at 9pm  Avant Garden in Newport Bach

  • Friday Feb 3 Rusty's Rhythm Club celebrates their 14th anniversary. The Ladd McIntosh Swing Orchestra, 8pm - midnight, Elks Lodge in Playa del Rey

  • Feb 3 - 5 Laguna Folkdancers Festival, Esign Intermediate School Gym in Newport Beach, Jerry Duke will be teaching Cajun dancing + Appalachian Big Circle.  The bands play a few swing dances, no partners needed, beginners welcome

  • Saturday Feb 4 Double Diva Hustle and Country Workshop with Trish Connery and Michele Adams, 11 - 4pm

  • Saturday Feb 4 Atomic Ballroom Placentia is starting Country Dance lessons in Placentia followed by a Country Evening Dance every Saturday night starting in February with Malia San Nicolas. The Third Saturday Country dance already in place will continue with Michael Sloat with 3 lessons before hand starting at 6pm. We hope those that danced 2nd Sat Ballroom in Placentia will continue to join us for the big Saturday night Ballroom dance that happens every week in Irvine.

  • Saturday Feb 4 special  Phil Adams, Hacienda by LAX, Intermediate Country 2 step workshop 3 - 5pm, Int NC2 5 - 7pm, WCS hitting the breaks 7 - 8, Swingtime Dance Party at 8pm (party is free) , Phil offers OC Dance member all 3 workshops (5 hours) for $20,  must present coupon.    Phil has negotiated a discounted rate with Hacienda Hotel by LAX.  Request  the "dancer's discount" and get a room for $60 anytime through June (when their tourist season starts).   For those who hate driving home late, contact the hotel and make your reservations now .
